2016 Giving Day Highlights
All donations made between 6 am and midnight thru the North Texas Giving Day website will be multiplied from a pool of $2 million dollars raised by Communities Foundation of Texas.
So what’s Giving Day Denton?
Denton County and the surrounding area organizations want to whoop it up on the square for our own little Giving Day Party! Local non-profits will be on the Denton Square from 5 pm to 7:30 pm on September 14th to tell people about the services available in their community. We’ll also raise some money for our part of North Texas, but we’re doing it the Denton way — kicking up our heels with a little music and a lot of fun.
We’ll have lots of activities for kids and adults, and donation stations at each booth.
Let’s show North Texas that Denton County knows how to throw a party!
And don’t forget to bring your wallet — show your community some love by giving back to those who give so much.
